You may notice that in all my recipes, I use sea salt instead of just regular salt.
Guess why? 
Yup, there is SUGAR in SALT! Can you believe it!?!?! I couldn't! I was baffled! And very frustrated! So yes, your typical table salt has sugar in it!
You have to read labels on everything!!! This is one of the very first things I learned!
As I mentioned in another post, Xanthan gum is another one of those tricky things that you don't realize is sugar.

wow didnt know that.. also looked today and mayo has sugar in it. crazy!
